Cheryl and Gretchen are two of the original chicks and they also are the organizers of the show. They are great friends who share a LOVE of buttons!!
Cheryl will again have her 'Letter' painted canvases, unique little address books and one of a kind frames. New this year are beautiful, trendy, large bead necklaces. Accessories do make the outfit!
Gretchen will have vintage button collages, sterling silver button bookmarks, and button bracelets. This will be her 8th year to create a sculpted folk art creation. 'Owl be home for Christmas' is hand crafted from paper pulp and would love to fly away with you!
This is Michelle’s second year at Crafty Chicks displaying her handmade jewelry designs. Utilizing the unique beauty of real butterfly wings, she mounts the wings in glass to showcase the stunning colors only nature can provide. Furthering her love of all things vintage, she will once again have her sparrow lockets available, but has also added metal photo necklaces. Using a method that transfers directly to the metal, she uses images old and new to create works with vintage charm. Custom designs available.

Crafty Chicks was started in 1999.
So what came first...the chick or the egg? It was a sweet chick in China that a co-worker was adopting. Our friend wanted to raise some money to help with expenses so we decided to have an arts and crafts sale. We began as Crafty Chicks and Jim, but Jim retired and we got tired of being asked "Where's Jim?".
The event has evolved into a venue for creative individuals with most having a connection to Hallmark Cards. We have many participants who have been in Crafty Chicks from the beginning and each year it continues to grow.
Crafty Chicks is a yearly event and celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity of all the participants.
